AICCE — AI Competence Examination

Legal

Privacy Policy

Last updated: [DATE]

AICCE (aicce.org) is operated by Adam Eyes ("the Company", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the Service, why, and how it's handled.

1. What we collect

We collect the following categories of data:

  • Account data — your email address and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).
  • Profile data — name and any other details you add to your candidate, recruiter, or institution profile.
  • Booking & payment data — the exam level and slot you book, and payment confirmation details from Razorpay. We do not store your full card, UPI, or bank credentials — those are handled directly by Razorpay under its own privacy policy.
  • Exam & result data — your responses during an exam session, your score, and the resulting credential.
  • Integrity signals — basic behavioral events logged during an exam session (tab switches, fullscreen exits, window-focus changes) for academic integrity review. We do not use webcam or audio monitoring.
  • Support data — anything you submit via the Contact page or in correspondence with us.

2. Why we collect it

We use this data to:

  • create and secure your account, and operate the booking, exam, and results flow;
  • process payments and issue receipts;
  • score exams and issue, store, and let others verify your credential;
  • review potential integrity issues in an exam session;
  • respond to support requests; and
  • meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

3. What's shown publicly

A candidate's exam score and pass/fail status are made available on a public verification page, accessible only to someone who has the credential's specific verification ID (for example, a recruiter you've shared it with) — it is not searchable or browsable by the general public. Recruiters and institutions with a registered account may additionally search candidate records that candidates have made available for that purpose.

4. Sharing with third parties

We share data with the following categories of service providers, only as needed to run the Service: Razorpay (payment processing), our hosting and database infrastructure providers, and email delivery providers (for verification and notification emails). We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

5. Data retention

Account and result data is retained for as long as your account is active, since exam results are designed to remain independently verifiable over time. If you close your account, we retain the minimum data needed to preserve the integrity of any credential already issued and to meet legal/tax obligations, and delete or anonymize the rest.

6. Your rights

You can review and update most of your profile data directly from your account. To request a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of data we're not otherwise required to keep, contact us at support@aicce.org or via the Contact page.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures — including password hashing and access controls — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies/local storage needed to keep you signed in and the Service functioning. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
